Carepaks Health services nursing assistant program prepares individuals to work with other healthcare providers providing care and assistance in a variety of settings. This program meets State of Illinois / Department of Public Health nursing assistant training requirements. Becoming a CNA may also be your stepping stone to careers in nursing or other professions.
Our students are required to successfully complete required classroom and clinical hours consisting of direct patient care in a local, long-term care facility. You must also successfully complete all manual and written competency tests.
In addition, program participants must adhere to the policies and standards of Carepaks Health Services Inc, the long-term care facility, and the Department of Public Health.
The $1,800.00 fee covers (all fees are approximate and subject to change without notice):
You are responsible for other costs not covered in the $1,800.00. This includes:
A criminal background check or fingerprinting is required prior to the start of training. The Health Care Worker Background Check Act [225 ILCS 46] requires all applicants in a health-related field to undergo a criminal history record check. Applicants with disqualifying convictions are discouraged from continuing with the program unless a waiver is obtained from the Illinois Department of Public Health.
